Rain of clarity

Lama Jampa Thaye is a leading Western Buddhist teacher, authorised to teach by eminent lamas of the Sakya and Kagyu traditions of Tibetan Buddhism. Born in England, he began his Buddhist studies in the 1970s under the guidance of Karma Thinley Rinpoche. He has received numerous transmissions and teachings from masters such as His Holiness Sakya Trizin. A doctor of religion and Tibetan studies, he combines his profound academic knowledge with an authentic practical experience of the dharma. He has founded numerous Buddhist centres in Europe and America, and is the author of several books on Buddhism. His approach combines the preservation of the authenticity of the traditional teachings with their accessible presentation for Western students.
