Vegan Recipe Book: Resistance from the Kitchen
Resistance from the kitchen, Casa Virupa's vegan recipe book is much more than just a recipe book. It is a compilation of some of the menus prepared at this retreat and meditation centre, located in Llinars del Vallès (Barcelona). Through its pages, this book not only shares delicious recipes based on plant-based ingredients, but also invites us to reflect on food as a way of expanding our moral circle, respecting all living beings and adopting a more sustainable lifestyle.
In addition to the recipes, the vegan cookbook includes an interview with Lama Norbu, Casa Virupa’s resident teacher, who discusses topics such as the relationship between spiritual practice and conscious eating. His perspective offers deeper insight into how the food we choose can be aligned with values of compassion and respect.
Virupa Editions: Publications that Inspire
This vegan recipe book was the first publication of Ediciones Virupa, the publishing house of Casa Virupa. Since then, the publisher has expanded its catalogue with titles that address Buddhist philosophy and personal growth.
